Welcome to F.A.S.T's Mayday Relay, A 24 Hour Swim Relay. We consider it a big problem when in a year an average of 25 children drown in Arizona. Though the number of fatal drownings have declined in recent years the number of non fatal drownings and incidents has not. It is going to take community wide effort to make a difference. On August 10, 2008, members of Swim Neptune and invited guests will attempt to break the Guiness World Record(TM) for most participants in a one hour swim relay. This event will be the launch for the Mayday Relay, a 24 Hour Swim Relay, and the attempt to bring community awareness to our problem here at home. This 24 Hour Relay will also attempt to break the current Guinness World Record(TM) of 3,189 participants. This is event is open to the community and will raise money for the Foundation for Aquatic Safety and Training (F.A.S.T.) while bringing awareness to and promoting water safety in the Arizona community.
NOTICE-Registration for the 1 Hour Relay is closed, please call Joe at 480-695-7946 with any questions.
